I wish that smile could melt the snow like it melts my heart.

She loves to wear Cooper's coats these days. 

Hence the way too big coat she is wearing.

Brodey took pictures of Peyton and I reading books today.  It is sometimes unbelievable how many times of day she asks me to read her books.  As soon as I sit down in the chair, here she comes "read me book mama".  How can you say no to that?

Then she said "me take picture mommy".  So after securing the strap around her neck in case she dropped the camera, and with a little more help from me, notice my arm coming out of the camera on the right hand side, she took this picture.  She actually did a pretty good job for a two year old that doesn't even know how to look through the view finder and can barely wrap her little hand around the camera to push the button!

This is how we started our weekend.  A trip to the Country Market to buy doughnuts & chocky milk!

Any of you that know Peyton, know that she was in heaven!  One white doughnut & one chocky doughnut.

Cooper went about his usual routine of licking the icing off of the top and the custard out of the center.

Not sure what Brodey is contemplating in this picture.

But then his dad put cream on his nose and Brodey decided he was going to try to lick it off.  Needless to say, he was not successful in that challenge.  LOL

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

My birthday was today.  A friend of mine from church brought me this yummy cake at about 9:30 tonight.  How awesome is that?  She said she felt bad that Dennis was out of town and wanted to make sure I had a cake on my birthday. She is so thoughtful.  The boys and I immediately cute into it and started eating ALL this chocolate at about 10pm!  Then Brodey grabbed the camera & snapped a picture.  It's not a very flattering picture, but I made myself let him do it.  Again in an effort to document our entire life.  Not just the kids.

A continuation from yesterday...

While we were being little monkeys jumping in the bed, Cooper was brushing his teeth.  For whatever reason, he brought Peyton her toothbrush in bed!  She was obviously very happy about it.

Apparently it looked like we were having some fun!

Then we had two little monkeys jumping in the bed!

Luckily no one fell out and bumped their head!
